Conical temporary strainer
Bossmanfilter offers fabricated temporary pipeline strainers in cone, basket, or plate strainers. These temporary pipeline strainers are a cost effectives mean for temporary straining for start-up applications. Fabricated temporary cone, basket, or plate strainers are designed for initial start-up and should not be used as a permanent straining solution in place of Y-strainers, basket strainers, tee strainers, or duplex basket strainers.
These fabricated temporary cone and basket strainers are constructed of a heavy gauge perforated plate with drilled holes on off-set centers to catch debris in pipelines during start-up. Temporary cone or basket strainers can be fabricated to any length in many different types of metals or alloys. Standard lengths are 100% or 150%. This refers to the open area of the cone or basket to the cross section of the inlet pipe.
